Custom Composites - Engineering, Manufacturing, Tooling
Closed Molding

Closed molding of thermoset composites is the future of composite molding. While initial tooling cost is increased over open molding, the gains nearly always outweigh the costs. In most cases significantly so. Material usage is controlled by a set charge which in turn virtually eliminates any human error and significantly increases precision. The volume of parts per one tool set is capable of much more than that of open molding.

Closed molding techniques we construct tooling for include: RTM, RIM, DCPD, Vacuum Infusion, FAB and Autoclave.
