When volumes go up, injection molded thermoplastic processes start to come to mind. The problem is not only the extremely high tooling price, but complete redesign of the part and all the engineering and testing that goes with it is necessary to confidently move to that process. With our RIM Process using Metton Americas LMR, a DCPD thermoset material, we can take your project from 2 or 3000 to beyond 10000 parts per year with significantly lower tooling investment than thermoplastic injection molding with no part redesign.
