We use some Hand Router Fixtures (HRF) to trim a few parts that have very low volume, but most of our production is trimmed and drilled in a 5 axis CNC machining center using CAM generated programs from our customers own data. This approach reduces tooling lead times, improves part quality, and lowers the part cost. This stage in the production of composite parts is the most sensitive to operator influence.
